Last week we went camping to Deer Creek Reservoir. This is the first place we
ever took our motor home and the kids had SO much fun. We just HAD to go back this year and it was fatastic!

| James getting us all hooked up with sewer, electricity, and hot water---so nice!! |
| The girls had so much fun riding their bikes all over the campground |
| and enjoyed climbing up onto the bunks for snacks |
| Katelyn couldn't bear to leave her toys home and made sure to keep them comfy at all times |
| We enjoyed coloring and playing with Bend-a-roos during the afternoons when it rained |
| The girls LOVED all the rocks and enjoyed climbing up the boulders |
| And they had to get their feet wet |
| oops, just a little more got wet than their feet |
| What?!?! We didn't get wet. |
| Instead of walking, they enjoyed sitting with their feet in the water |
| A little sisterly love |
| Katelyn LOVES to have people carry her around |
| A gorgeous view of the "lake" |
| Lauren and Katelyn watching a movie in their "movie theater" |
| No camping trip would be complete without roasting marshmallows |
and just sitting and talking around the campfire

We had 3 days and 2 nights of camping fun. I think Deer Creek is the perfect place to camp. It's just an hour away (with no steep or winding canyons to drive through), there are the boats to watch, the water to play in, beaches with rocks to throw into the water, paths and trails to wander and plenty of paved road to ride bikes. There is also a covered pavilion for each site, fire-pits, and grills not to mention all the hook-ups to make camping so luxurious! We had a blast and are so glad we were able to have another camping trip before the weather turns cold. Maybe, just, maybe we can squeeze in one more trip! (if not, we just may pretend camp in our own yard).

That looks like so much fun!!I hope the weather will cooperate and you guys can get another camping trip in!! We've never camped there...but maybe we'll have to try it next year!
Are you Facebook "friends" with Utah State Parks and Recreation? They would love to have a link to this post on their site! I've never been to Deer Creek but it looks like fun!
That looks like a great place to go camping! We will have to try it sometime. There is nothing like having the hookups there for the trailer.
so cute and looks so fun!!
That looks like so much fun. It sounds like a really cool place to camp--I'd never thought of going to Deer Creek for camping (although Cory would love to buy a boat and jetskis and other water toys).
